I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental Health (IGPP) in Freiburg, Germany, working in the EU-Funded project VIRTUALTIMES. The objective of this project is to create a virtual reality game to treat and diagnose psychopathologies like depression and schizophrenia through the manipulation of time perception.
I conluded my Ph.D. in 2018 on the topic of “Time and Space in Video Games” at the Institute of Media Culture and Theatre of the University of Cologne and the Cologne Game Lab of the TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences. My doctoral dissertation was published in 2019 by transcript Verlag.
Prior to my Ph.D. I completed degrees in fine arts and audiovisual communications in Córdoba, Argentina. I was also active for a few years as a media artist and exhibited my work in museums and galleries in Argentina and Germany.
